Dr. Meike Gebhard earned her PhD in environmental economics. Until 1998, she worked as a research associate at the University of Muenster before joining Reed Elsevier Germany in 2000 as director corporate development and head of e-business. Since 2008, she is managing director of Utopia.de, Germany's leading internet platform on sustainable consumption. Meike Gebhard has dedicated expertise in the areas of sustainability strategy and social media communication.

Roland Grassberger, CEO Grassfish Marketing Technologies

Roland Grassberger is CEO and head of strategy, innovation and product management at Grassfish Marketing Technologies, a leading European developer of smart store and digital signage solutions for the physical retail space. Roland has a track record as a successful entrepreneur; in 1998, he sold his company SoftWork, a provider of software for dentists and for patient medical records, to GWI AG (now Agfa Healthcare), the German market leader for hospital software. He took the role of head of development and product management at GWI for several years and subsequently became CEO of medical net AG, a medical data transmission provider and subsidiary of Agfa Healthcare. In 2001, Roland founded Telion, a provider of voice-based news and notification systems, before establishing Grassfish Marketing Technologies in 2005. Roland, who is married with 5 children, studied Computer Sciences at the Technical University Vienna and enjoys active leisure pursuits including skiing, cycling and tennis.

Hassaan Hakim, Managing Director YOOL GmbH & Co. KG

The graduated cultural scientist is owner and managing director of the „advertising agency for sustainability“ YOOL. Hassaan Hakim is a brand and positioning strategist for companies from the ecological and sustainable sector and in high demand as an organic food and organic cosmetics expert. Until 2007, Hassaan Hakim worked as a lecturer at the University of Hildesheim, where he taught cognition, creativity and cultural comparative psychology. As a trainer, he inspires and supports business managers and supports corporate sustainable development processes.

Charlotte Libby, Global Beauty & Personal Care Analyst, Mintel Group Ltd

Charlotte Libby has a University degree in Communications and PR from Southampton Solent University. At Mintel she is a Global Beauty and Personal Care Analyst, specialized in Color Cosmetics and Fragrances and is responsible for writing reports and analyst insight articles, as well as working on bespoke projects with the agency’s clients. She has over a decade experience in the beauty industry and has developed a variety of projects in her career, from PR to editorial strategy and product development.



Hans Reitz, Managing Director The Grameen Creative Lab

Hans Reitz was born in 1966 and raised in Bad Abbach (Bavaria). Today he lives with his family in Wiesbaden.
At the age of twenty he embarked on a journey that took him from India to Afghanistan and Iraq. His deep interest for the arts and culture led him to the studies of classical south-Indian music during his time in India. Back in Germany in 1994, he founded the creative agency "circ" and thereafter he continuously expanded the agency’s expertise. Today the company serves as a reliable partner in content driven live communication for established brands such as BMW, Merck, Deutsche Post and E.ON. circ was repeatedly voted "the most creative agency in Germany".
As a creative consultant of Nobel Prize winner Prof. Yunus, he has helped to spread the idea of "Social Business" since 2007. Together with Prof. Yunus, he founded the "Grameen Creative Lab".

Armin Steuernagel, Founder Purpose Foundation

Armin Steuernagel has founded various companies, among them the Purpose Foundation and the investment fund Purpose Ventures. He founded his first successful company at the age of 16, later he started the organic company Mogli, which today is active in 40 countries. Armin studied philosophy, politics and business at the University Witten/Herdecke, University of Oxford and Columbia University, New York. He is a member of the Young Think Tank at the Club of Rome, ThinkTank 30 (www.tt30.de). As a co-founder of the Purpose Foundation, Armin today helps companies to gain new ways of thinking about ownership to remain independent on a long-term basis and to stay true to their mission. As co-founder and managing partner of Purpose Ventures e.G., an evergreen investment fund, he supports the growth of companies without the sell-out often involved for the enterprises.

She then quit her well-paying and secure job to focus on the topics close to her heart, sustainability and environmental protection. As Green Janine she presents events and as a speaker promotes the FUTURELIFESTYLE. In 2018, she launched her newest baby – futurewoman.de

Moritz Aebersold

Moritz Aebersold, CEO, Contura Consulting AG 

Moritz Aebersold is the owner and CEO of Contura Consulting AG in Basel (CH). The business economist has a high level of strategic competence and is a renowned expert for the worldwide natural and organic cosmetics market. He has been closely engaged in the international organic cosmetics trade and has helped to establish its successful development since the mid 90s, through many years as director in the Weleda Group executive board, and his work in industry associations, including the position as founding president of NATRUE. Since 2013, Moritz Aebersold and his consulting company Contura Consulting AG provide business- and management consulting, he also works as a professional non-executive director in supervisory boards. A special focus is aimed at the strategy- and business development in the value-oriented pharmaceutical- cosmetics- and consumer goods industry in Europe, Asia and the United States.

Gerald A. Herrmann

Gerald A. Herrmann, Director, Organic Services

Gerald A. Herrmann, an agricultural engineer, is a pioneer in the organic sector. He is a worldwide renowned specialist and organic industry expert and speaker. Since the 1980s, he has been engaged in developing the organic sector. He spent about two decades shaping Naturland e.V., an international farmers’ association and private organic certifier, as an organic farm consultant, its President and Executive Director. For several years, he served voluntarily in different capacities at IFOAM, including as its President. Today he is a partner and director of Organic Services GmbH, an international strategy- and management consultancy specializing in the organic (food) sector, sustainability and development matters.
